Ben Allen Launches the Mini Masters Series
It's finally here.
After weeks of teasing, planning and experimentation, I'm delighted to unveil the very first release in the Mini Masters Series: a collection of four exclusive screenprints by the legendary artist Ben Allen.
If you've been following the journey so far, you'll know that Mini Masters was born from a simple idea:
How do we make exceptional contemporary art more accessible without diminishing its value?
The answer was to collaborate with some of my favourite artists and create genuine collectable editions at a price that welcomes both seasoned collectors and those buying their very first piece of art.
Who better to kick off the series with than Ben Allen.

Why Ben Allen?
Over the past decade, Ben has built an enviable reputation for creating bold, joyful works bursting with colour, nostalgia and visual energy. His originals and larger editions are sought after by collectors across the UK and beyond, making him the perfect artist to kick off the Mini Masters project.
For this release, we looked to one of Ben's most celebrated bodies of work:
Full Bloom.
A series that perfectly captures his distinctive ability to transform familiar imagery into something playful, vibrant and irresistibly collectable.

From One Print to Four
The original plan was simple. Create a single Mini Masters edition based on the Full Bloom collection. Then we started playing with colour.
One variation quickly became two. Two became three. Before long, it was obvious that choosing just one wasn't going to happen. The result is a set of four striking neon colourways, each offering a completely different personality while retaining the unmistakable spirit of the original work. Whether displayed individually or grouped together as a set, the collection creates an immediate visual impact.

Hand screen printed at Heath Kane Studio
One of the principles behind Mini Masters has always been that these should feel like authentic works of art rather than mass-produced merchandise. That's why every print in this inaugural release has been produced using the traditional craft of screenprinting at Heath Kane Studio Screenprinting remains one of the most respected printmaking methods in contemporary art. Each colour is printed separately, layer by layer, allowing for a vibrancy and depth that simply cannot be replicated through digital printing.
The intense fluorescent colours in this collection demanded exactly that approach. The result is a print with richness, texture and presence that far exceeds its modest size.
These may be Mini Masters in scale, but there's nothing small about their visual impact.
Collecting Should Be For Everyone
At the heart of Mini Masters is a belief that collecting art shouldn't be reserved for a lucky few. For a limited time, collectors have the opportunity to own an authentic Ben Allen artwork for just £25. Not a poster. Not a gift-shop souvenir. A genuine collectable edition created in collaboration with the artist and produced specifically for this release. Whether you're a long-time Ben Allen collector, a fan of contemporary printmaking, or someone buying their very first artwork, this release offers an unusually accessible way to become part of the story.
More Than a Print Release
We're not thinking of Mini Masters as simply a series of affordable editions.
We're building a community of collectors. People who love discovering artists, living with great artwork and supporting creativity in all its forms. This Ben Allen release is just the beginning. Already confirmed for future Mini Masters releases are artists including, James Joyce, David Bray, Kid Acne and Nick Grindrod, with more exciting names to be announced soon.
