For the past six months I’ve been exploring a new collection—something deeply tied to my own fascinations and to the wider questions shaping my interest in storytelling at a historically significant moment. It’s an enquiry into the forces creating fractures across society, from AI to populist politics, religion to conspiracy theories. I’m sharing a first glimpse of the work so far: often messy, often ending in dead‑ends, yet within that tension there’s beauty and clarity – a reminder that art can still voice the questions we’re not always brave enough to say.

My latest painting in the Portrait of Heroes collection, Conquest, is finally finished. It’s easily the biggest, boldest, and most complex piece I’ve created in this series—three months of pushing paint, pushing ideas, and pushing myself. Seeing it now on display at Joseph Fine Arts, alongside some of my other works, feels like a genuine milestone.
