In Brands we Trust - Sculpture

Brands have such a profound impact on our daily lives it raises the question if religious faith can compete.

BACKGROUND STORY

‘In Brands we Trust’ is designed to look on the surface like a classic piece of pop art – juxtaposing Barbie’s face with an image of the Virgin Mary. But the light facade masks a deeper question about consumerism. Whereas Pop Art fetishised consumerism, ‘In Brands we Trust’ challenges it. In March 2016 two people were shot and seriously injured in America when Nike released a new version of its Air Jordan 2 Retro shoes. ‘In Brands we Trust’ ponders the question ‘have brands become our new religion?’ And if so, are they encouraging division and extremism?

Standard Delivery: Royal Mail
For most orders, we use Royal Mail as our standard delivery partner. They offer reliable, well-tracked services across the UK and worldwide. Delivery times vary depending on destination, but you'll receive tracking information as soon as your order is dispatched.

Premium Express Delivery: DHL
If you need your artwork sooner or prefer a fully expedited service, we offer DHL Express as a premium upgrade. DHL provides faster international transit times and enhanced tracking from door to door.

DHL is recommended for:

• Time-sensitive orders
• International customers wanting the quickest delivery
• Buyers who prefer a premium courier experience

Free Collection from the Gallery

You're welcome to collect your order free of charge from our gallery in Saffron Walden.

Choosing collection is especially important for larger or more delicate framed pieces. These works carry a higher risk of glass breakage when shipped via courier, so we strongly recommend collecting them in person whenever possible.

Once your order is ready, we'll contact you to arrange a convenient collection time.

RETURNS

In the unlikely event you wish to return your purchase please contact art@heathkane.co.uk within 14 days of receipt of your artwork and/or merchandise. Please include your order number, the reason for your return and whether you would prefer to exchange the item or receive a refund.

To be eligible for a refund your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. You are responsible for the cost of returning products for refund or exchange. We advise that you use a trackable shipping service to guarantee that we receive your returned item.

When you return your artwork to us, it is essential that you return it in perfect condition. If the artwork is damaged when it reaches us, we will be unable to offer a refund or exchange. For help and advice on packing your item for return please contact art@heathkane.co.uk.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR WRONGLY SUPPLIED PRODUCTS

Should you be returning an item because it is faulty, damaged or has been incorrectly supplied please e-mail us photos of the damaged or incorrect product to art@heathkane.co.uk before initiating a return. 

Where an item is being returned because it is faulty, damaged or has been incorrectly supplied then we will refund the cost of item, the original shipping cost for the item and the cost of the return postage (proof of cost is required). We advise that you use a trackable shipping service to guarantee that we receive your returned item.

Refunds and replacements will be granted at the discretion of Art by Heath Kane.

Our returns policy excludes artworks that are made to order. These cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

Refunds can take up to 7 working days to be processed. Should you not have received a refund within this time period please get in touch. If you need any further help or require more information about our returns policy then please contact us on art@heathkane.co.uk.
